Review on 🐠 Mini 3W 13W UVC Timer Aquarium Algae Remover Light for Fish Tank Water Clean - Green Bloom Clean Light for Sump Pond Filter Tank by Judy Thomas

Be careful how you use this light! How you use it will determine if your fish die!

I did not read the reviews when I bought this disinfectant. When it arrived the instructions said not to put it where fish might be. Well it has been a dilemma since I bought a dive light. I took the time to read all the reviews before turning on the lights. Everyone had different techniques. In my 20 gallon column tank I used the PVC pipe method mentioned in the review. It worked great. There was no option on my Chi 5 gallon tank. I placed it at the top where the water flows before entering the reservoir. There was a filtered/muddy plastic cover around the filter, so I figured this would prevent exposure if it protruded slightly past the filter. nope! My fish fought for several hours. Now I've lost everything but the dwarf frogs. I hope I can save her. I changed the filter, did a partial water change and added a little treatment since it primarily affected her fins. Nothing helped, even light exposure for a couple of hours. Again, the PVC pipe method was great. I do not recommend this light for small aquariums. The slightest impact will kill your fish. It's not about the light, it's about how you use it. Sorry the photos are rotated sideways, I can't rotate them. I believe this information should be read on the product page before purchasing. This is a tough lesson. I lost about $100 on fish not counting some of my favorites. I'm just saying.
