Review on 15" Handmade Marble Chess Set - Staunton & Ambassador Gift Style - Black/Fossil Coral by Danny Nedumaran

I bought this set as a gift. It's a nice set if you plan on leaving the board on display without the box. The pieces are a good size and weight, although I wish they had felt on the bottom to protect the board, which they do not. The display case that they came with, however, is horrible. It's cheaply made, the pieces barely fit in the case provided for them and it is flimsy. I would not use it to protect your pieces. The felt box for the entire set is just as poor; I even cut my hands multiple times on nails sticking out of the corners (included in the photos).Overall, the set itself seems well made and the shipping was fast. The box it comes in belongs in the trash.
