You can easily replace your old circuit board with this one without programming
Here's a little life hack. I have a 2009 HHR and the unlock button on my remote is worn out. I would have to hit him 20 times to open the door. The dealer asked $101 for a new remote plus programming work. I bought this device, I thought I'd try to program it myself and if I can't I'll take it to the dealer. At least I would have saved most of the $101. When I got this I opened it up and stuck the circuit board from the old remote inside and it works great! No programming required. For less than $20.
