This paint stand is pretty easy to put together (even for people like me who have a bit of post-stroke problems). A good trick is to use blue masking tape to hold the decorative screws in place during assembly and to use a thin piece of cloth (e.g. lens cloth) between the bottom of the unit and the table it's sitting on you assemble. The shelves themselves are sturdy once assembled, can hold many different sized bottles (if you're using the Army Painter small bottles, move them around and you'll get a different size) and they look great. There is also plenty of space behind for intermediate storage of stuff like double paint bottles etc. only 4 out of 5 due to paint outgassing or industrial fumes from small balls getting into the brush holder part. phew I had to take it outside to air out.
