Review on ⚡ Efficient GE Grounded Switch for Improved Electrical Control - Model 25511 by Jonathan Fernandez

Nowhere in the description does it say that this switch cannot be used to charge the motor. One respondent was mentioned in the questions and answers, but nothing "official" in the images or wording. I hope this information is added to the description to avoid disappointment to other buyers. I bought this to turn off an RV fridge so I can continue to use the other outlets in the circuit while the RV is parked next to our garage (and plugged into 120v). I currently have to turn off the breaker and inverter for the fridge to turn off and the other two outlets (one GFI) will be momentarily turned off to 1000 watts when the compressor turns on - all within the switch's advertised limit of 15 amps, 1800 Watt. Unfortunately when the switch arrived there was a warning on the back of the packaging that it was not to be used to switch motor loads. it will not work as intended. Will find other uses for the switch, but I'm disappointed that the statement "small appliances and more" didn't come with a prominent warning label in the description. Not worth sending back - I'm sure it will be fine for light purposes.
