I have had a different brand of tarpaulin for 8 years. When I'm not gathering leaves with it, I cover the firewood with it. I decided to buy a new one this year and ordered this one. Within 1 hour the new yard tarpaulin was slightly torn about 6 inches down the center, I tried to glue it down. Within 3 hours it split into 3 feet and all it was used for was leaves. I finally got my old tarp to finish the job and it went in the bin. When I took my old one out, I noticed that it was thicker and woven with fibers, so I think that makes it stronger. Disappointed with this brand and am now looking for another.
