No tow bag! in Tarps & Tie Downs

As a previous customer said there were several holes in the tarp after pulling out the branches. I sealed the holes with duct tape and still use it often to push large piles of junk around. If you use this on leaves, pine needle mulch and other light debris, this is perfect. This isn't the "tow bag" I had to buy for the limbs and other big stuff I have to lug around. Lesson learned. Still a great product. However, make a version with a reinforced tow bag!

Makes harvesting leaves much faster and easier.

Semi-deciduous trees are slow shedders in this climate, meaning they shed their leaves 1/3 of the year. So we have long periods of confusion. This leaf tarp cuts down on the time it takes to clean up and reduces the number of times you have to bend down (ugh! I'm not as young as I used to be) to pick up leaves. They rake them and sweep them onto a strong tarpaulin, pick up the corner loops and throw them in a heap. This product seems to be of much higher quality than the last two I've had.

Almost perfect for fittings

Definitely speeded up the process of getting a lot of sheets onto the curb for municipal pickup. The only problem I had was that the lace had two loose ends in one corner. I tied them in a knot, but when I got kicked out of the Boy Scouts, the knot came undone and I spent 10 minutes threading the cord back into the surrounding gutter. It would be nice if there were eyelets in this corner and something so that the cord does not disappear. But that's really a minor issue, just be careful with…

Fall arrester

I actually bought this tarp to replace the one I already have. The existing tarp lasted 3 or 4 seasons but eventually began to develop holes from being dragged over the lawn, mulch, rocks and concrete road. It could have lasted a few more seasons, but I wanted to be prepared for one of the holes cracking to the point where leaves are missing. I'm really shocked that none of the handles have come loose yet. What surprised me even more is that there is not a wide range of this type of product…

Had to buy a cheap tarp from Dollar Tree

The fabric is not strong at all. It only took a swipe across my yard that wasn't full of splinters to make a hole in the plastic. And the rope handles on the corner are all parts of the same rope, so when I pull the tarp curls into a ball, which then has to be painstakingly untangled before I can pick up another stack of leaves. I hoped it wouldn't at least blow away like the cheap tarp I used to use. But it happened. The slightest impulse would render it useless. My solution will be to find…

Pretty good but could be better

The size is almost perfect and it's quite durable. However, it should not be dragged, especially over hard surfaces, as this can damage the material. Using the included rope to pull up the corners to move the load helps, but could be done better (you have to put some effort in pulling and tying the rope to secure the load), like a rubber band with a plastic lock. mechanism (like the ones you see on the sleeves of some raincoats). However, it gets the job done for a reasonable price. A stronger…

Not durable even for light gardening.

I have had a different brand of tarpaulin for 8 years. When I'm not gathering leaves with it, I cover the firewood with it. I decided to buy a new one this year and ordered this one. Within 1 hour the new yard tarpaulin was slightly torn about 6 inches down the center, I tried to glue it down. Within 3 hours it split into 3 feet and all it was used for was leaves. I finally got my old tarp to finish the job and it went in the bin. When I took my old one out, I noticed that it was thicker and…

Very disappointed with hardware

I really wanted to like this as it seems like a good idea. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was a small cut, maybe 1 inch long - I didn't touch it thinking someone at Revain must have accidentally cut it with a utility knife. never mind Then I unrolled the tarp and one end. The rope came out immediately. It took me about 20 minutes to thread the rope back over the edge of the tarp and tie the two loose ends together. Okay, no big deal, just a minor inconvenience. Then I used…
