The most convenient heater for a camper

Disadvantages: does not blow hot air. Advantages: excellent additional heating. At the AC switch. This heater tape was the best electric heater I have bought for our caravan life. We've basically left it on all fall and winter (about 6 months so far) and haven't had any issues with it. It blows warm air because it's not particularly powerful, but it probably saved us hundreds of dollars on propane. You might think you don't want to buy this because it doesn't blow hot air (I thought so), but if you do buy this you'll be surprised at how much it changes over time (which I found out). . It also prevents the trailer temperature from fluctuating from hot to cold as only propane will work. One more thing, I don't have to worry about the switch tripping because I connected the coffee pot to the same circuit as the other outlet heater. It's also great because we hooked it up to a central air conditioner which has vents throughout the trailer so it can heat more than one room unlike other electric heaters. As you can see I really like this product. We live in an area with normal temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit, but we've only had 0 degrees Fahrenheit and it really helped, although at lower temperatures we used more propane than you might expect. As an added bonus, if you're freezing above your air conditioner it'll be installed right next to the freezing fins, and while you have to be careful with meltwater near electricity, it can also help defrost your air conditioner.

Pros
  • Convenient thing
Cons
  • Possibility of replacement
