I enjoyed the sound right out of the box; there is a lovely bottom sound produced by a slight rise in the upper section of the bass, but there is no hum; the center is clean and even; the voices sound fantastic; the instruments sound like they were recorded naturally. The high frequencies sound good; there is no suggestion of sharpness, but they also do not sound muffled. Even when turned up to its highest level, the sound from a weak source such as a smartphone is muffled, the bass is muddy, and there is an insufficient amount of highs. The headphone output of the Emotiva A-100 amplifier as well as the stationary Tiny Dot II tube both contributed to the sound heard through the headphones. And even on those, I found myself adjusting the volume control more frequently than I had in the previous 12 hours when listening to quiet tunes. The headphone output of this amplifier has a peculiarity in that when two jumpers are installed, the full power of the amplifier is supplied to it. This gave a wild power margin even for these fosteks and changed the sound slightly; the bass became more collected, and the tonal balance became slightly more even, despite the fact that the overall character of the sound was preserved naturally. I also attempted to connect to the Fiio X3 II player. The sound quality is fantastic when played through it, but the volume level will need to be turned almost all the way up when using the high gain setting. Still, why not consider this an option? The sound of the headphones is smoothed out while still preserving readability and detail. The sound is warm, but there is no turbidity or harshness in the sound. Even in condensed phonograms, metal has a fantastic sound, and the sound of a symphony orchestra remains impressively robust and expansive. It is difficult to tear yourself away from listening to any of the genres because the sound is so captivating. In general, all of the genres sound good, but occasionally the bass can be a little excessive. This is not an audiophile sound; rather, it is a meloman sound. The stock ear pads are made of leatherette and are quite thin, which is why the pressure on the ears is so strong, and it will be a little hot in the warm season. Changing the ear pads in accordance with the reviews results in a different sound, so there is room for experimentation (but they are soft and of high quality). On general, the inconveniences are not overly bothersome, even when they are in stock, and you are able to listen for a considerable amount of time.
