Fasten the screws or reduce the price
Forged Copper, you can't just buy shorter screws, and the screws easily double the length of the standard switch plate screw. If you have a tool strong enough to shorten the screw, or a grinder, this can be fixed in a snap, but it's not necessary. Drill a hole to properly mount the screw. If none of these things work, you'll probably want to send it back and try something else. The price isn't much less than buying something similar at the store, so drop the price to add time and one more task for a quick project or just ship the right size screw right away. Enough people have complained about this here, so the problem can't go unnoticed.
