Review on Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob - 4 Button by David Banks

Read through. First paragraph is not true but might help those having trouble. I programmed the fob. worked while I was in the truck. Started running toward the house and it didn't work. I thought maybe I didn't "finish" the programming properly, so I did it again. No joy. I replaced the battery and reprogrammed. Still no joy. It works if you are within 2ft of the truck. Is the antenna broken? I have a lemon. After programming the remote, the range sucks. But just like the range on the original remote Even after fresh batteries.Maybe it wasn't the remote!Googling I found a thread on the Chevy Avalanche board about this guy also having problems had with the remote control. Discussions back and forth pointed to a number of third-party cables for off-road lights and whatnot. I don't have such a thing, but I have a Nulaxy KM29 bluetooth adapter that plugs into the "cigarette lighter". I shrugged. This pup came out and now both the original remote and this one have reasonable range. I'm increasing my rating to 5. This remote does exactly what I need it to do.
