Review on 📡 Metra 44-US07R: Versatile Top or Side Mount Rubber Antenna for Superior Reception by David Banks

I decided to test it properly before disassembling, I'm glad the broken standard antenna has better reception.1. All components are painted with non-conductive black paint - there is no signal unless every edge of every part connected to "Antenna"2 is sanded. The assembly design is just stupid, there is no real way to tighten it. You can disassemble the ball part to put a screwdriver in it, but you can't hold it to tighten it securely. makes the signal terrible even if it hasn't been painted over. In the photo I've removed all the plastic scraps to show all the painted over joints. (checked with voltmeter, no conductivity)
