works but doesn't work when instructions are followed

update. I originally gave 1 star because it didn't work properly. The correct setting is hot on +, ground on - and auxiliary power on those marked C. That way I was able to get the gauge working. 4 stars instead of 5 due to issues I had with their instructions as the light is not as shown in their photo (it only glows with a blue light) and it doesn't look like it's actually waterproof which is a big one Problem represents golf carts.

. High reliability, low cost and compact size. Suitable for lead-acid batteries.
