Clean before first use
This is a good quality mold but it was dirty. There were tiny pieces that looked like metal shavings. They weren't obvious in the deep pink mold but showed up clearly on the surface of my first two soaps which were pale yellow. I'm new to soap making so I don't know the best way to clean it. I also wish these products came with instructions on how to store them as I found that they stick together and someone told me not to store them in plastic.
