The light works again! Exactly what I was looking for.
What about the fuse?!? It works and I'm happy with it. I was looking for a replacement fuse for my Christmas fairy lights and couldn't find any in the store. Stores seem happy to sell you a new garland, but fixing a broken garland isn't easy. So I turned on the internet and found this.
