Review on 💻 Belkin USB-C to Ethernet Adapter + Charge: 60W Passthrough Power, 1000 Mbps Ethernet Speeds - MacBook Pro Ethernet Adapter (INC001btBK) by Jeremy Flint

While the 6677 reviewer from the UK says the unpowered adapter "worked flawlessly in the Nintendo Switch", we found the pass-through model essentially didn't everything worked with the Nintendo Switch and was tested on three different devices, two original versions (Generation 1; Series XA.) and one "Red Box" (Generation 2; Series XK.) versions. The devices showed charging status when the device was powered on AFTER the adapter was plugged in, but power was apparently not detected when the adapter was plugged in while the device was powered on. We've encountered no issues with Acer Chromebook laptops (Ethernet or Power Pass-Through) or Asus laptops (Ethernet) without USB-C charging. We're happy with the purchase but disappointed that it doesn't work with all devices. Other pass-through power devices (LENTION) will work, so it's not Nintendo's fault.
