Good but not good for average height adults

This table is fine. I was looking for a small desk to create a small workspace while working from home. This table will work for now, but it will be moved to my son's room once I find a better one. It's pretty close to what I was looking for. It doesn't take up much space. I have a laptop and a monitor that I use as two monitors. The way the table was designed didn't work well when they were seated next to each other. It didn't leave much room on the table and wasn't a comfortable position. BUT I put the monitor on the top shelf behind the laptop and essentially stacked the monitors together instead of side by side and that changed everything. It felt more ergonomic and I had more desk space. The quality is not bad. Looks solid considering the price. I wouldn't stand for it, but I'm sure it will hold up with normal use. The edges were a bit rough. When I first used it it seemed like it would get caught on my clothes and what appeared to be splinters. But a little sandpaper can fix it. What I don't like is the legroom and lower side shelves. The width of the footwell is VERY narrow. I fidget when I work, and this table isn't the place for that. I keep kicking my feet. Sitting at this table can be very uncomfortable. Not to mention I can't shove my tiny computer chair under my desk. The lower shelves are not very useful. They are not closed so that nothing rests on them. Between open shelves and tight legroom, I keep throwing things off the shelf. Despite the fact that the table has back panels, I decided to give it 4 stars. The table was relatively cheap and was great for a children's table. I wouldn't recommend this for average height adults though.
