Review on Smart speaker Yandex Station Mini without clock with Alice, red pomegranate, 10W by Dimitar Dimitrov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.

A toy that lacks the necessary parts to make it a part of a smart home is, for the most part, ineffective. After having fun with Alice for a couple of weeks and setting up smart home scenarios (which, by the way, can be created in native device programs, without needing the Station), I practically ceased accessing her after that point. It's true that youngsters can still have fun by using their voices to construct household equipment or by simply chatting with one another. But this won't last forever. And because it already has a Zigbee gateway built in, Station 2 is arguably the better option for use in a smart home. However, if you take into account the pricing differential, it is more beneficial to use a separate gateway.

Pros
  • 1. Mics of a high quality 2. Alice 3. The sound is not as horrible as one would anticipate it to be given its size. 4. Controls the smart home by speech in a more or less tolerable manner (delays are minimal, but bothersome), and performs extremely well, depending on the scenario. 5. This is my wave in. Music listened to not only when traveling but also while at home.
Cons
  • 1. The connector does not conform to current industry standards. It's also possible to screw USB-c. 2. The speaker is not capable of functioning as a source of music when connected to a bluetooth device. You are unable to wirelessly send sound from it to a sophisticated receiver featuring high-quality acoustics, despite the fact that this solution also presents itself as a potential option. Only through the auxiliary minijack, which is a somewhat inconvenient option. 3. Voice control is a highly considerate feature to have for smart home components that are connected via Tuya or Smart Life. At the same time, everything is instant from Tuya and Smart Life themselves, and for devices that are directly connected to the Station, everything is also quite fast. 4. The functionality of "smart" gadgets in the Smart Home is substantially reduced, in comparison to the same smart life (for example, smart sockets do not have service information about energy usage), or merely an online picture that does not have a history is taken from Rostelecom's video surveillance cameras. In addition, there are some devices that are not supported at all, such as online thermometers, which severely restricts the ability to construct scenarios (or, to be more accurate, these scenarios have to be built in smart life).
