No ankle/heel padding.
The back of the shoe rubbed in the area just above my heels (Achilles tendon) when first worn. The shoe has a curved shape at the ankle and no longer has the cushioning you'll find in the V9. Two stars instead of one because of the good customer service.
Pros
- Take it easy. A little high in the arch. But I don't use for backup. Were in the same shoes.
Cons
- The inner lining is not breathable and can cause perspiration.
