I bought a Curt receiver and this Curt cable set and have both installed now. There are two main problems with this set of wires. The green wire we were supposed to run under the car's bumper to the right taillight was about a foot shorter to get the job done. Also, the warranty and instructions say that we need to mount the converter box in the car. But there are no instructions for this. On my car, there is no way to get inside the car from the left tail light without removing the internal components and drilling a big ugly hole in the inner quarter panel. In instructions for competitor products, we install the converter box behind the bumper under the left rear light. In this case I had to do that. My experience with this harness and the lack of packaging material to protect the coupler, which was sticking out of the shipping box and was ripped off during shipping, would have compelled me not to purchase Curt branded products. in the future.
