I picked up the acrylic set of brushes to go along with other birthday gifts for my teen daughter including a set of acrylic paints and a large paint by number canvas. These brushes will offer her more variety and help her practice her skills. They are decent quality for a beginner. They are reasonably priced and store nicely in their own zippered case. The pallet and other tools that come with it are poor quality and will not get much use. I actually feel like it cheapens the whole set in a way. The brush handles are long enough and the case stands up easel fashion to allow your brushes to be visible but also to fully dry before storing. From a fan brush to a fine detail brush, there is everything you need to get started! The brushes worked well, held a good bit of paint when needed and did not shed even after washing. Overall, these are a decent set of brushes, competitively priced, if you've ever priced brushes separately , you'll know the value here is great, especially with the zippered storage case!
