You can’t ask for more in a brush set that is less than fifteen dollars. What a deal this set is for basic brushes.Don’t judge Picasso before he is finished painting. These handle acrylic paint well and at this price get five or six sets so that you will always have a fresh new brush when you need one. Sometimes it’s best to paint with entry level brushes so you can create art and not get hung up on little things like brush envy.

I'm a hobby painter, working in acrylic and oil paints. I found this set is a decent quality for the price which includes a nice case. I have a similar case and only realized with this one that they are designed so you can angle up the backs of the holder so your brushes pop up by bending and velcroing the backs. I don't believe I'd call this a "High Quality Set" as described on the label, because the bristle density is pretty low. I have other brushes that will hold more paint and I feel that is a requirement for "high quality". However for a travel set, this is adequate. The bristles do not shed, have good "snap" and shape maintenance, and a nice variety of sizes and shapes. The addition of a little palate, knife and sponge that can be zipped into a sturdy case are a definite plus.

This is a decent set of paint brushes and accessories. It would be perfect for a beginner who needs basic supplies. There is a wide variety of size brushes, and they are better quality than I have seen in other sets like this before. There is a small palette and a sponge. It all comes in a storage case to keep it all organized. It would make a nice gift item for a new artist.

These brushes are very stiff even after wetting them and fanning them in warm water should be labeled at wish you was painting brushes

These are good quality paint brushes that are much better than what you can get from your local hobby store. The handles are longer than usual; here it is compared to a 2” acrylic paint. I don’t do oil painting but I used it for my acrylic craft paints just fine. No shedding and easy to clean.
