Good brushes, bad palette knife and palette

I painted with these brushes last night and found them to be pretty good. No bristles fell out while using them and there is a good variety of brushes. The largest brush is about 1" wide and the smallest brush is a nice size for details. They seem pretty well-made. They come in a carrying case which is nice to keep organized. Now, about the palette knife and palette: not good. They are both made of plastic. That's okay for the palette but the palette knife is useless, it has very little bend and will likely break if bent too much. It needs to be flexible, I prefer a metal palette knife. The problem with the palette is that the wells are too small to be of any use. I will likely throw these two items in the trash. The sponge is a sponge. I'm not sure what I will do with it, it seems fine. I may use it so I'll keep it.Overall, the BRUSHES are definitely worth the money, and that's probably what you are looking for, not the extras. It's the extras that need improvement.
