I'm a hobby painter, working in acrylic and oil paints. I found this set is a decent quality for the price which includes a nice case. I have a similar case and only realized with this one that they are designed so you can angle up the backs of the holder so your brushes pop up by bending and velcroing the backs. This is good for when traveling although I usually just toss all my brushes in a large cup but this is easier to pick out what you need. The only gripes I had with this set is the lack of smaller flat brushes. These flats start at size 8 and 10, I really would like to see some small flats instead of all the round brushes, but that may be just me. Also, the plastic palette knife is not going to work well, so they really could have just omitted that. However, I have discovered I really love the little tiny palette. I do a lot of of small detail work on oyster shells and have been grabbing this palette over and over.
