I use tape and have used it for shoulder stabilization for many years. I always prefer the precut ones because they're easy to throw in your gym bag or pack a few in the travel first-aid kit for travel. The cutting lines on it aren't clear or complete, and I had to hand cut each section without reaching the finish. It works great in the middle of the road for traction and grip, but I can't help but notice the fact that I have to cut what needs to be pre-cut completely and cleanly.
