After using a dozen much cheaper plugs I bought one of these Malibu plugs to finish off the last light thinking it would be easy. The 12 gauge main wire was difficult to get into the channel. The screw cap was very difficult to attach due to the thickness of the wire. I must have wasted two hours and tried half a dozen times. No matter how much I twisted the tip, I could never turn on the light. I don't think these connectors work well when the main cable is large, ie. 12 gauge and the lamp wire is about 18 gauge. Back to cheap plugs.
