Review on ASICS Gel Quantum Shoes 10 5M Piedmont Men's Shoes in Athletic by Danny Bell

My husband has a pair of Asics Gel Quantum shoes that he has been wearing every day for at least a year and a half. And basically he wore the shoes to death. Due to his larger size and stature, he needs something with support, especially in the heel area, durable because he'll wear it every day, but comfortable because he'll wear it every day. When he discovered the Gel Quantum series he fell in love, to be sort of disappointed when the model he had been using for over a year was discontinued would be an understatement. We searched, researched and decided to give this model a try, although he wasn't happy. The price was great and Revain Prime gave me free shipping. They arrived a day early which made my husband happy because his feet couldn't stand another day in their old shoes. We are the same size as his old tennis shoes that we bought at the hardware store for him to try on, assuming same manufacturer, same series, should be the same size. In the toe area it is slightly narrower than its predecessor. And the material design makes it a little harder, so it's a little harder to crack them considering my husband doesn't leave the house anymore. But overall a very well designed shoe. He says the heel and arch feel 100% better so the shoe definitely offers great support and comfort. He loosened his laces and adjusted the type of socks he wore and found that this helped solve the problem when they became stiffer and tighter around the toes. We hope it will soften a bit over time. Definitely satisfied with our purchase, shipping and price. We are worth what I paid and not having to leave the comforts of home was just a bonus.
