This was pretty easy to use to fill the lines with brake fluid. Of course I used a thin rubber washer that came installed and leaked fluid under the cap when I pressed it - a mess. The included thick washer solved this problem. However, I struggled to get a good flow rate to the right rear wheel. I realized that pressure was being put on the master cylinder reservoir and was afraid of putting too much pressure on any part of the system that might rupture the o-ring. Bleeding the brakes with an assistant can put MUCH more pressure on the brake fluid, so I resorted to this method on the right rear wheel. After a good test ride I still had a bit of a spongy feeling, so I bled all 4 wheels again with pedal assistance and got good brakes that passed the DMV test. If you're just changing calipers, I would just use the manual method with a pedal assist.
