performance or not?

Installation was very easy, the sound is nice too. The problem is the performance. I felt more drag with my stock airbox than with the valance, which is strange because there are fewer restrictions on the valance. I think the problem is in the knee that goes from the airbox to the pipe. I will try this before sending it back.
