It broke within a year.
It wasn't quiet, quite loud so I used low settings the whole time. A month ago I suddenly switched to high heat with the low setting. Then the handle became very hot and difficult to hold, and the smell of burning wire began. This is a waste of my money. I wish I could go back and get my money back.
