Well made aluminum case for a repurposed Chromebook SSD. Suitable size for 2242 M.2 SSD. Slightly large for tightly clustered USB ports, larger size provides a comfortable grip when using; easy compromise. Excellent support from the manufacturer, fast communication. UPDATED a year later: He died, almost to the day. I bought these as a replacement. Worked flawlessly with Mac/Linux/ChromeOS devices. SSD changed several times. The symptoms of death are the same as the original: LEDs are on, the system reports an unsupported file system, cannot format. Fortunately, the data on the SSD was not corrupted. I want this to work.
