I ordered a medium because that's what I usually order, and it fit perfectly in the bust and shoulders. I ordered the royal blue and black colors. I'm keeping both because this is such a great dress for many occassions and is easy to dress it up or down. Fabric is dressy and the dress is lined. The dress isn't as full as it looks in the photos, but is just right. I'm 5'3" and 135 pounds, I am 38 inches around the chest, smallish to medium cup size. I've had cancer and restructive breast surgery so some v necks are too low for me, but this was just right. I think most people will find the v neck not too low or too high, for those who look best in v necks but don't want the neck to be too deep or short.
