Requires full laptop power to function
This device will only charge your laptop if you have a USB-C power adapter that provides enough power to charge your laptop. Standard USB chargers will NOT work. Yes, you can connect external monitors, but your laptop will run on battery power. I sent my device back because I couldn't find a suitable power adapter in the shops. Depending on your laptop, you may need a 45W USB-C power adapter to get the most out of this product.
