I bought these mattress pads to use on our autistic son's bed. Over the years we have tried different mattress pads with varying degrees of success. For our purposes, we looked for a cover that fits snugly, doesn't crackle or make noise, is easy to wash and dry, and is affordable. This product has more than exceeded our expectations. Advantages: - Elastic cover around the perimeter so that it fits snugly against the mattress from all sides. - This case does not have a thick vinyl layer, so it is soft and quiet. while still protecting the mattress. - I can wash this cover in hot or cold water and tumble dry low. - The price was perfect for our budget, allowing us to get two for a rotation. Cons: (I haven't found any at the moment. However, I plan to update this review if anything changes.) I'm very happy with this product. We also bought a children's mattress for our youngest child. I plan to get more of these when our budget allows. I only wish we had found them sooner! I would recommend these covers to anyone who wants to protect their mattress with a soft and inexpensive product.
