The reason I bought this particular bolt is to replace the one that came with the 3 VIX bit set. They worked fine except I broke the tip of the ball end hex wrench in the set screw socket. My fault is that I used the bullet end when it wasn't necessary, I knew they were weaker. Anyway, I can't remove the set screw. The bit is tiny and eventually I'll have to clear the jam. or break the beat This size is very handy for small boxes of #2, #3, and #4 screws. Helps me line them up accurately in wood where thin drill bits tend to walk or bend a bit and not right there too drill where you want. VIX bits are perfectly centered with a loop or latch as a guide. I tried a few cheap imported tools but the quality wasn't good enough, some broke from the start and some jammed frequently and the overall satisfaction was very low. You know, when a tool works perfectly, there's a nice feeling of satisfaction.
