Review on 🔋 Hopkins Engager 20099 LED Test Break Away System with Battery Meter by Chris Shepherd

I bought this for our sailboat trailer that uses 4 wheel electric brakes. With a full load of 8600 pounds, it is important to have a good and reliable emergency braking system. It was relatively easy to install, compact and works as advertised. While I didn't test the system under load (that would be crazy, wouldn't it?), I tested it with each wheel jacked up, turned it by hand, and then asked an assistant to pull out the broken pin. There's enough battery to lock it instantly, so I suspect that on a loaded trailer, as it pulls away from the car, this system creates a strong stimulus to stop the trailer. I hope I never have to find out.
