Installation went pretty well, I marked my 4 holes, drilled them with a 6 3/8 recessed lightweight drywall hole saw (could have used a regular 6 inch hole saw back ). like the hole was big but it wasn't there and it was cheaper it was ok in the end the lip still covered it). Wiring was easy, removed the single box for a double and added a switch on the wall without using the switch as I like to control it with my Google Home but it's nice to still have it. The light is bright and diffuses beautifully, it can really transform a room. The app fits well and the controls are nice, from warm to cool, plus all the color options. Dimming works as it should. To be honest everything was worth 5 stars. until my friend pointed out the hum emanating from them. After playing with them it became clear that they have terrible LED dimmer hum, particularly bad at full dimming which is very disappointing as the driver and light combination are from the same vendor. You'd think this would have been figured out during development, but it's clear that it's probably a Chinese copy of another light source and the LED/driver pairing with them hasn't been tested and suffers from that hum. Obviously I'm stuck with them now, I'm sure I'll find a way to deal with this, does that mean not dimming them or using color mode more often? (Does not hum in color). I'm not sure I would buy it again so I gave 3 stars. I have plans to do more rooms and I might just put standard dumb lights in their place or even go back and deal with the buzz, but I'm not sure how much of a deal breaker that is anymore.
