Review on 🚚 AMP Research 74811-00A Silver HD Max Truck Bed Extender for Nissan Frontier 1998-2017, Toyota Tundra 2000-2006, and Tacoma 2005-2020 (Requires 74601-01A for installation), Standard Bed by Mario Portillo

Bought for my 2016 Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed. It fits perfectly and the quality of the product is superb. A few installation tips: 1. If you have a Toyota licensed bed mat (and you should!), use the two mounting templates included in the instructions. It says it's for full-size trucks, but the extra height makes up for the thickness of the mat. 2: I would recommend using a template to drill the top two screw holes for the bracket and then installing the bracket before drilling the bottom holes. Just to make sure your screws line up perfectly. 3: I found assembling the extension itself to be the most difficult task as the powder coating on the center rails made it adjust to the width of the bed (and centered the AMP logo), quite frustrating. To avoid struggling with the bed extender I would recommend using soapy water or something else to add some lubrication during adjustment. There are several YouTube videos you can watch to get an idea of how difficult the installation process is. No fear! You can do it!
