I bought three of them. In the beginning everyone did well. The grip mechanism is the best I've seen, holds any phone very securely. Pressing the button releases the phone easily, except for one, the button was very difficult to press. The locking mechanism that connects the gripper to the windshield mount is very weak and broke at once on all three. This allows the grip mechanism to be easily detached from the holder, which has caused me to drop the phone several times in the car. Worst of all, the suction cup mechanism on all three failed within 9 months and will no longer adhere to the windshield. I can't buy a new $25 mount every 9 months.
