As I said, I installed this in 2018 on my 2017 Silverado and the light still works. However, I had to take them off about once a year to repaint them. The factory paint started to peel off after about 9 months. I pulled them out and painted what was torn off. Now, a little over a year later, I had to pull them out again and this time remove all the paint because the aluminum was badly oxidized and left streaks on my bumper. I repainted them and they look normal again. It's a real pain and that's why I'm posting this review 2 years later. For the record, I live in Maine and we have harsh winters with lots of chemicals on the roads. However, I've seen that other brands don't have this problem here, so it's not just winter that's causing this. The headlights still seem to work fine and I don't see any signs of water in the lenses. They're still bright enough. So I give them 3 stars and no less. The price isn't bad either, hence the 3 stars. I just wish they had a more durable finish. That would give this review 5 stars.
