I bought this last summer and my granddaughter couldn't stay in the pool well enough to use it. This summer is a different story - she is now 2 1/2 years old. This is a great product. I started "cutting off" pieces of foam so she could learn to rely less on it. You can cut one piece at a time, but cutting off the pieces makes the process more gradual. When I purchased this item I was looking for a bladder that you put on a baby that slowly releases air as it develops and it seems they are no longer available. It was the next best thing I found. I would buy this again.
