Review on π 14-inch Length Starrett K53-14-N Carpenter's Try Square in Stainless Steel by Jon Russell
The name alone does not speak for the quality
I found mine to be almost 1/8" square and 15" long. It's too much, even at this price. I tried breaking the outer rivet to cover the corner but that didn't work. For that much money you have to understand that Starrett does nothing but put his name on a product made by someone overseas - so in this case the name has nothing to do with quality. My mistake is that I think differently. For the price I would recommend an adjustable metal bezel or a plastic speed bezel instead as they are all molded in one piece and most likely square.
