I'm a "warm dream"; were always. But I also need to feel covered when I sleep, which means I need to turn on the fan even if my room is 68F. Over the years I've tried different sheets and materials that promised a cool night's sleep, and I even have a gel pad on my bed that promises the same thing. None of them did anything special for me. On a whim, I decided to try bamboo panels after reading another promise about their cooling performance. After looking at the different ones available I settled on a set of white sheets from Sijo. Received quickly, washed and then put on the bed. I woke up in the night because it actually felt too cold and I had to turn off the fan (room temperature was 69F) which was the first time. Since then I've only needed a fan for a few nights when the AC was still catching up from the heat of the day (it's 98-102F here) and even then I woke up early in the morning to turn on the fan. turn off the fan because i'm getting too cold. The only problem I have, and it's very minor, is the cost; these are not cheap blades and they are very light. They also need to be treated differently than cotton (no bleaching, just no heat drying). But I tell myself that the cost will eventually be offset by not having to run the fan as hard at night.
