Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ 3pcs Travel Watercolor Brushes, Round Extra Long Synthetic Sable Pocket Paint Brushes with Protective Case Handle, Ideal for Watercolor, Acrylics, Gouache, Ink by Michelle Langley

This travel brush set is medium in size.

Three stars on average. Not bad, but not surprising either. I was looking at many travel brush options and accidentally bought this set instead of the FabArt set. Shipping is $6.52 and since I paid $15.99 for it I thought heck, I'll keep this set. Mine came with a small bamboo/cloth sleeve that holds the brushes. Which was a pleasant surprise. There are three brushes in the set in sizes 10, 6, and 2, although the brushes themselves are labeled 12, 8, and 4. The description says that these synthetic brushes are comparable to sable brushes, they seem to me stiffer than other imitation sable brushes. Not as soft as sable, more like normal synthetic brushes in my opinion. Maybe acrylic paint is better than watercolor. The bristles for these brushes were fine, I didn't see a single hair fall out which is good. The #10 brush holds a lot of water and all three brush tips have a good fine point. But the metal caps/pins are heavy and because I have carpal tunnel the extra weight hurts my hands. I also had a lot of trouble removing the cap on brush number 2. Another downside is that the metal handles wobble when you attach them to the attachments. They're fine for a few minutes, but soon after, the brushes become loose and wiggle when you paint with them. While I don't hate these travel brushes, they suffice for now, but I regret buying them instead of the set I originally intended to buy.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE ERGONOMIC DESIGN: All brushes are carefully handcrafted with handles for an ergonomic grip and perfect balance in your hand. Only the finest base materials are used to craft each brush. Travel brushes come with a cap that extends the handle for convenient use, the handle is detachable to cover the bristles for clean, tidy transportation.
Cons
  • Very expensive
