Review on πŸ”₯ The Bracketeer Car Fire Extinguisher Bracket: Universal Design for Most Vehicles with 20,000 Units Sold! by Eric Sharp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits a 1965 Ford Mustang with some ingenuity but overpriced for what it is.

I bought this to fit a 2.5 lb Halotron fire extinguisher to the passenger seat rails in my 1965 Ford Mustang. The way the seat tracks work on vintage Mustangs is very different from what's used in modern cars, so it wasn't a straight bolt on. I went to Home Depot and bought some angle brackets which I hammered in to act as the mount adapter bracket. I then enlarged the hole in the corner bracket so I could fit the seat bolt and the other hole so I could fit the nut and bolt. I then bolted the bracket on as instructed, and now I have a Halotron fire extinguisher securely mounted on the passenger seat in case I ever need to use it. Great investment in classic cars. At $65 after tax I felt it was a little pricey for what it is but when I open the box and hold the product in my hands I can see and feel the quality. Could you make your own mounting system to attach the fire extinguisher to the seat? Yes, but honestly it would be too much hassle and a headache.
