The original hose that came with the faucet only lasted 2 years. It started leaking just above the spray head. Removing the original hose is very easy. Installation takes longer as it is almost impossible to thread the hose back through the small hole in the bottom of the sink. This is unavoidable due to the elegant design of modern faucets, as manufacturers have to squeeze three hoses into this narrow opening. You will need to remove the bent part of the stem and remove the faucet to properly feed the hose and then reinstall the entire faucet. I wrapped the new tube in repair tape to reduce abrasion with future use. Hopefully this will extend the life of the new hose.
