Front derailleur part slightly wider than standard and mounting tips do not match 100%

Electrically works but physically slightly different. Part of the switch is slightly wider, causing it to stick. seize when triggered. Unacceptable. Also, one of the mounting notches is slightly misaligned due to one of the mounting clips not snapping into place. Rather than return it, I modified the new derailleur to work by carefully removing the top. from my old OEM switch and swapping it out for a new switch assembly. It worked, but I didn't have to. So 3 star rating.
