I used for cutting holes in tevertine stone tile at pluming fixture locations in a shower. I took a thin 1/8 piece of wood cut a hole with a fircner bit matching the OD of the diomond saw and used as a locating jig. Once I held the jig securely over the marked location I placed the jig and tile under the faucet with a slow stream of water to keep the bit cool using a battery powered drill. Drilled very quickly with no signs of wear.
