What the description doesn't tell you is that while they "will" fit standard 6x6 lumber (5.5" x 5.5" actual size), that's only possible by removing the base. The bottom of the actual light is a 3" square. If that's the look you want, great - looked unfinished to me. I wasn't going to mill my post down to fit any post cap lights.Three stars because I didn't keep them - I can't comment on long term durability. That said: - These are produced from some very cheap metal. Sheet material wasn't straight, cast pieces were pretty coarse finished - They're painted gold inside. Paint coverage was say 95% - I had some bare metal in the two shipped to me - Black color on the outside had runs in it in places and didn't fully cover the gold where the gold bled to the outside. Wasn't super noticeable though - Paint was definitely not powder coated. I suspect a season would have it flaking away - Completely open = bugs and spiders will get into them - LED was roughly 3000K in color and pretty brightOverall, for $30 bucks they would have fit my expectations if they actually fit. I would have known this had I read all the CUSTOMER REVIEWS, but is it really that hard to properly describe your product?Slowly but surely I've reduced my purchases off Best Buy because of false descriptions, excessive fake reviews, and fake products (co-mingled inventory seems to be the problem).
