This is a slightly different review of this printer than what it is intended for, but an overview nonetheless. I needed a printer that could print a six-foot+ route sheet for a dual sport rally raid. I didn't want to rob a bank as it wasn't a work trip or an event like the Dakar, but I wanted a good backup of the old paper instructions just in case. My box was well packed with the mini disc intact. I had to put a CD in my old desktop to copy the contents and drivers to a flash drive so I could use my laptop to print. The drivers are installed in a few seconds. He spat out a small note that he was connected to USB001. Then, oddly enough, it printed the route sheets (every 7ft, in fact) with no problems. It took a few tries to get it to fit the paper properly, but it worked perfectly in the end. The print speed was fast and the print was crisp. No missing parts or stripes. This is the ideal printer for the price and size to print route sheets several times a year. It's certainly better than printing them out on a regular printer and then taking 2 hours of "arts and crafts" to put them together.
